Functional appliances are usually used during the natural growth spurt in younger patients, but if you missed this window for treating misaligned jaws, we may still be able to help.

It is possible in some cases to achieve significant forward movement of the lower jaw up until around the age of 30. However, this would no longer be removable and would need to be attached to a fixed brace for the duration of the treatment.
